Inclusion Diversity & Equity Academy for Leadership 2024 - 2025

Riverside Health System has partnered with Hampton University, Norfolk State University, and other local colleges on a program to attract more diverse liberal arts majors to Riverside Health System. Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Academy for Leadership (IDEAL) is a 9-month external inclusive leadership program that hires college seniors part-time into the program with the potential for a permanent full-time job placement concluding the program. The 9-month program includes classroom training, a high-level team project, job shadowing, and concludes with job placement assistance.

The RN Clinical Ladder  is a voluntary program that bases recognition and economic reward on an individual's demonstrated and successful completion of the clinical ladder's required and elective activities.  This program is to recognize and promote clinical RN's who work primarily at the bedside.
